Happy with the way you drive? Or you are a little worried? The California Highway Patrol will conduct a meeting about your concerns and more on Friday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. in the Aptos library community meeting room. The two-hour session will cover aging and its effects on safe driving, maintaining good physical health, self-assessment, and more. You can register for the free session now by calling the CHP at (831) 219-0200. This public event is offered by the CHP. Village will attend as a group!
The event is not yet listed on the full Aptos event calendar. David Jensen ferreted it out and confirmed with Rowan at the Aptos Library that it is officially scheduled.
David is also pulling together a reading list of online resources on the driving issues we all face. It will be forthcoming shortly. Once you sign up with the CHP, register with Village info@villagesantacruz.org so we know who is going. We suggest carpooling.
